Petrichor✨☺

 Today something interesting happened in the school. Some kind of resistance movement was happening from Kasargod to Trivandrum. The ending was happened here in St. Mary's school. So as part of the valedictory function, teachers from different school did a street play portraying the dilemmas faced by teachers from different perspectives. It was a very relevant and heart touching play. 

 Today one of the teachers from UP session called me and assigned a duty of 7th standard students who were watching a short film in the mini theatre. The red balloon is actually prescribed in their english textbook, so that the English teacher is in charge of displaying the movie. Students were so eager to watch it and they keenly observed with excitement. I also got an afternoon session duty of theatre. I was so excited to be in charge of this duty as a teacher. 🤩✨✨

 The last day of observation. Meekha ma'am visited the class to monitor the session. She observed it carefully and gave me the feedback. She gave me so many positive feedbacks and i was so happy to read that. But still I believe there will be things to be improved from my part. After all the observation teacher took group pictures with us. 

 Maya ma'am visited my class without any  notice. I was taking a model on the topic adverb. It was a good experience and i had many resources or materials as aids so i was not worried about the observation. Anyway I got good feedbacks from teacher. 

 Today was a casual day in school where I had to engage my class as usual along with some other classes for substitution. To be frank I got to know the struggles of managing classes only when I was assigned for any substitution especially in UP sessions. It seemed a bit hard to handle those kids in discipline. They were not steady in classroom and always talking something. But anyway it was a pleasure to deal with those students as they were so innocent and genuine in their behavior. All of them draw  pictures for me..... 😇😇😇😇

 On nov 2nd, my mentor-in-charge, Mrs. Meekha ma'am came to observe my class. I was dealing with the chapter The Jungle Aircrash. I prepared an entry activity to make students engage so that i can grab their attention throughout the class. When teacher came, I gave her my record along with the observation book to write the comments about my overall performance. And I took the class in a well prepared manner by which I got good appreciation from her. She gave good remarks after my teaching which made me so happy and motivated. 

 After our second semester exams we got back to the school for continuing the teaching practice. The day was exactly nov 1 which celebrates the birthday of Kerala. In St. Mary's there was a celebration regarding the special day. We took pictures and also had to handle class as usual.
